Notre Dame QB Commit Noah Grubbs to Play in 2025 Navy All-American Bowl
Noah Grubbs, a standout quarterback from Lake Mary High School in Florida, has been invited to play in the prestigious 2025 Navy All-American Bowl. The 6-foot-4, 188-pound signal-caller is one of the top talents in the 2026 recruiting class, and thanks to new rules allowing underclassmen to participate in All-Star games, Grubbs will showcase his skills at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Ranked as the No. 165 overall player in the country and No. 9 among quarterbacks by 247Sports, Grubbs has already made a major commitment to his future. He pledged to the University of Notre Dame on June 1, 2024, choosing the Fighting Irish over offers from numerous prestigious programs, including Auburn, Florida, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Michigan, and Miami.
Reflecting on his commitment, Grubbs said, “I visited all the schools I wanted to see, and Notre Dame was the only place that gave me that heartwarming feeling. I could really see myself competing here, playing quarterback here, and working with great coaches like Coach Bowden, Coach Gino, Coach Denbrock, and Coach Freeman. The vibe at Notre Dame really resonated with me. There’s a focus on academics, football, and a strong sense of community—there are no distractions, and that’s exactly what I want in my college experience.”
As a junior this past season, Grubbs put up impressive numbers, completing 205 of 355 passes for 3,024 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. He also added five rushing touchdowns, leading Lake Mary to a 12-3 record and a state runner-up finish. Over his three-year career, he has already become Seminole County’s all-time passing leader, accumulating 8,287 yards and 103 touchdowns.
Grubbs works with quarterback trainer Baylin Trujillo, who also trains other top Florida quarterbacks. Trujillo has been highly impressed with Grubbs’ development and leadership, calling him “a generational talent.”
“Noah exemplifies what it means to be an alpha, both on and off the field,” said Trujillo. “He’s the most coachable and driven athlete I’ve worked with. His ability to make every throw on the field, consistently place the ball, and lead his team is what separates him. He’s been a natural-born leader his whole life, and I’m confident he’ll bring back championships to Notre Dame.”
According to 247Sports’ scouting report, Grubbs is a “budding signal caller” with a loose arm and a projectable frame. His mechanics are clean, and he has the ability to make all the throws, excelling especially on play action. While he’s more of a touch thrower at this stage, Grubbs has the arm strength to challenge tight coverage when needed. He’s expected to continue his development as a decision-maker and an athletic pocket passer, making him a strong prospect for the Power Five level.
As Grubbs prepares for his senior season, his selection to the 2025 Navy All-American Bowl marks another step toward what’s shaping up to be an exciting collegiate and professional career.
